SwCE Writing Rules

Papers should include a summary (abstract) of 150-200 words in both Turkish and English, and a maximum of five keywords. The summary section of the research should clearly state the research question and the answers to that question. In addition, this section should include information on the methodology, assumptions, hypotheses, and research results used in the candidate's work.

The abstract should be written in Georgia 10 point font with single line spacing.

Candidate articles are expected to be between 5,000 and 9,000 words in length. The abstract and bibliography are not included in the word count.

The title of the study should be written in 12-point bold font. The first-level headings of the study should be written in 12-point bold font. The second-level headings of the study should be written in 12-point bold and italic font. The third and subsequent levels of headings should be written in 12-point italic font. The font style used in the body of the paper should be Georgia, 11-point font, with 1.5 line spacing. When creating the bibliography, surnames should be listed in alphabetical order by their initials. Footnotes should be written in 10-point font.

The source of tables and images used in the study should be indicated below them using the in-text citation system. Before using the in-text citation method, if the table, image, or similar visuals have a name, it should be added below them, and then the in-text citation should be applied. Tables should be adjusted to fit the page using the “AutoFit to Window” command.

Studies submitted to the journal should be prepared in an academic style. The journal uses a system based on the APA 7 citation system.
