Abstract

Turkey's Green Deal Action Plan presents a comprehensive framework aimed at enhancing environmental protection and economic resilience in line with the country's sustainable development goals. This study examines the green and circular economy strategies implemented within the scope of Turkey's Green Deal Action Plan and assesses potential future scenarios for meeting energy needs. In the face of rapidly increasing energy demands and the necessity to combat climate change, Turkey aims to enhance the integration of renewable energy sources, improve energy efficiency, and adopt sustainable agriculture and transportation policies. Additionally, efforts to align with European Union standards through international cooperation and diplomacy play a critical role in Turkey's green transformation process. In this context, Turkey's commitment to achieving sustainable economic goals and the challenges it faces constitute an essential foundation for the success of the green transition process.
