Plagiarism Policy

SWCE adopts the following rules in determining the similarity ratio in journal submissions:

* Articles with a general similarity ratio exceeding 20% are returned to the author without entering the peer-review process. In this case, authors can revise and resubmit the article within 1 weeks.

* The similarity ratio from a single source should be less than 3%.

* Editors may conduct similarity checks during or after the peer-review process.

Additionally, regardless of the similarity ratio, any expressions and/or blocks taken from a source without proper citation will be returned to the author without being considered in the evaluation process.

The above-mentioned rules are accepted by all authors submitting articles.

It is recommended to use iThenticate, Turnitin, or intihal.net programs for similarity reports.
